We spent three nights at Berry's. The motel is clean, quiet and had everything we needed. The bed was awesome and we both slept really well. I wish we knew the manufacturer. Will definitely return here. Thanks.
Don't expect a red carpet or royal treatment and follow the rules, and you'll be just fine. This clean, private motel has figured out how to check you in and out without help from a human. My large room came with a comfortable bed, hot shower with fire-hose pressure, and a partial kitchen with a huge fridge, by motel standards. It's a bit beat up in spots but all things considered, it's worth it. Avoid units with street-side AC as you can hear a pin drop outside.
I dunno how to say this, but I was happily surprised. The motel doesn’t look like it, but this is a very decent stay.
You could tell immediately that there was attention to detail in this room. We had driven all day and were running late , we called to let them know. Upon arrival the manager was located and the key was obtained immediately. Even the shower looked inviting!! And every store you may need was within walking distance and was just minutes to get back on the highway
We friend and I booked a room here and thought this was just going to be a cheap dive motel but were VERY pleasantly surprised to find it newly renovated and very welcoming. Staff were excellent and very accommodating. Full size fridge, hot plate, microwave and kitchen sink in our room, that was awesome! The beds and pillows were absolutely amazing! (I honestly wanted to pack thos pillows in my suitcase and take them home with me ). Very centrally located airy anything you need within walking distance. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again!
Well what can I say. Me and my wife stayed at this motel for 4 months. We are from Newfoundland and was there on a 4 month work term. We loved the room, nice kitchen unit. The owner and staff was very friendly, help you in any way possible. It was 5 in the morning and encountered a small power issue which was totally my fault. So I went and knocked on his door, He was friendly and very understanding. He took care of the issue right away and came back to our room make sure everything was ok. And this was 5 in the morning. This place is very quiet and very respectful, nice and clean. The cleaning lady always made sure we had clean towels and sheets. Highly recommend this place to anyone. Great location as well. Want to thank the lovely folks at Berry's Motel for a safe, clean, comfortable stay. The little kitchen was a nice bonus! The bed was literally THE most comfortable bed I've ever slept on! We won't hesitate to stay again. Very conveniently located. Good for people with sensitivities or allergies if the rooms without carpeting are available.
Best MOTEL in Truro, nice comfortable beds, clean and affordable. The staff will bend over backwards to assist you. The owner of this motel is very professional and friendly. He will do anything to help you out like I said best MOTEL and Truro.
